Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) takes care of classic horror character Dracula in the festival's Opening Night film 'Have a Good Day' from Canadian filmmaker Lisa Soper.

The 2024 Yeh! Nah! Horror Film Festival award nominations highlight some of the best moments from all 39 International, Australian and Canberra films being screened across 7 days.


From Zombies, Vampires, Demons, Monsters and Aliens to a whole plethora of horror movie tropes, the entire Official Selection of films bring an awesome and incredible diverse take on the Horror movie genre, perfect for a film festival that happens at Halloween.


Nominations for each award category represent films from Canada, USA, UK and Norway, as well as Australian states of New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.

Megan Bell, nominated for Best Lead Performance in 'Lucky Devil' (QLD)

Lucy Davis, known for her roles in superhero movie Wonder Woman, UK Zombie classic 'Shaun of the Dead' and spooky TV series, 'The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, has been nominated for Best Lead Performance in the Canadian comedy "Have a Good Day', along with Megan Bell in supernatural demon thriller 'Lucky Devil' (QLD), Thibul Nettle in indigenous horror 'The Getaway' (South Australia), Shonee Samia in bodyswap comedy 'Ripe for Change' and double act Julia Summut and Stacey Lea-Clark in spooky ouija board 'Cabin 217.'
