Canberra's 2024 award nominations announced!

Award nominations for this year's Canberra category awards have been announced including three local short films competing for the Best Canberra Short Film of the festival.

Performance Review, Till Undead and Speak to Me are all nominated in the Best Canberra Film category.

Performance Review and Speak to Me lead the Canberra short nominations with 5 a piece. Canberra Sci-fi Horror film A.R.C.A is the only local feature length film selected to be included in competition for awards, and currently has 7 nominations, included the 4 key cast each picking up nominations for their performances.

Canberra award winners will be announced on Saturday 26th October at the conclusion of the Official Selection Screening. Winners will then be included with the Australian and International Silver award nominations, which the grand winners will be annouced on Thursday 31st October at the Closing Night Screening.
